Sage 50c is made up of many new elements and is built on Microsoft’s Office 365 Platform. Here are just a few of the highlights of Sage 50c:
Sage Contact
All your Sage customers and suppliers can be viewed from anywhere, any time on any device. Change records, record communications and link files from Outlook on your desktop, browser or phone (or still in Sage 50!).
In addition to the contact details, you can see account information such as balances, sales histories and check stock etc all from Outlook!
Automatically attach Invoices, Order Confirmations, Purchase Orders PDFs against the customer/supplier records on OneDrive (the file storage bit of Office 365!).
Sage Capture
Simply take a photo of your receipt for your purchase, enter the details and the transaction is posted to Sage 50 Accounts, with a copy of the receipt easily accessed via OneDrive.
Automatically create Sage 50 purchase transactions by clicking on a PDF supplier invoice attached to an email in Outlook. All saved safely in OneDrive!
Sage Intelligence Reporting
Sage claim this is Smart, Sexy & Interactive, who would we be to argue!
A cloud reporting engine hosted in Office 365 that lets you report from your Sage data into Excel online or desktop, amend the reports, save them and run them in your format when you like.
View at-a-glance your business trends with powerful dashboards and drill down functionality with Sage Overdrive.
Direct Bank Feeds
So you log onto your bank’s website, check who has paid you, go into Sage, put on the customer receipt, save it, go into bank reconciliation and reconcile your bank.
Never again! With Direct Bank Feeds you can build rules and it learns how you deal with transactions, so you will never type a payment again! You will be less of a wreck after your bank rec – sorry!
