Additional Improvements in Sage v24 SP1

Following on from our blog last week, we just wanted to share a couple of other improvements that we have found in the latest service pack of Sage.
One that we love, as the amount of times we take a backup as part of our technical support role, without checking to see if the default is All files rather than only Data files (then have to wait ages for the backup to happen) is that the backup information is now all on one screen.  See the path for backup and the types of files at a glance.
Although we have yet to see this in action, there is also more detailed information around the Sage services.  Whereas in the past, you simply got one message saying ‘unable to connect to data service’, there are now multiple reasons for this, allowing quicker and easier troubleshooting.
These, along with additional improvements around the bank – both feeds and direct debit – make this a worthwhile update to check for and install.
